Bev Melven is a rather pushy Aries who thinks everyone should read a hundred pages a day before getting out of bed (assuming that getting out of bed is necessary at all). She was raised in Alaska and remembers staying up reading with a flashlight under the covers as early as 1st grade. She had since received a B.A. in English, raised a child, moved to Oregon, and read a few more books. She is now old enough to leave the light on and stay up reading as late as she wants, even if it does make her cranky in the morning.
She’s not here to tell you what to read. At least – that ‘s not all she wants to do. She figures that 45 years of avid reading may have taught her something, and she thought she’d share it with the rest of you. To quote Terry Pratchett: [E]ducation was a bit like a communicable sexual disease. It made you unsuitable for a lot of jobs and then you had the urge to pass it on.

Happy reading!
I had this site and kept looking at it saying, “oh yeah—I need to look that over here soon”.
Took awhile.
But I am here now and enjoying the comments/reviews. They sound just like you talking.
And that is very cool.
